| Big pupils as intended | dilated_pupils | |
| Neither dilated nor big | dilated_pupils big_pupils |
The size of the character's pupils can be determined by comparing it with either of the following:
The character has dilated_pupils if it is depicted with bigger pupils than normal and, more often than not, the dilation of the pupils is triggered by a stimuli ("light, sexual arousal, emotions or some other factor.")
Example tag: albert_(intermache_unloved)
Normal eyes
Dilated pupils
On the other hand, the character has constricted_pupils if it is depicted with smaller pupils than normal and, similarly, the pupil's constriction is triggered by a stimuli as above
Example: paddy_(ruffu)
Normal eyes
Constricted pupils
It could also be possible that the character depicted has big pupils as intended and their eyes are not necessarily dilated. With this, we can remove the dilated_pupils tag; since big_pupils is already implicated by dilated_pupils, this tag change is sufficient for this scenario.
Example: dragonweirdo ankha_(animal_crossing)
Normal eyes
Tagged as dilated pupils as of writing
Added this option for edge case scenarios where the post is mistagged as big or dilated pupils
